I’m a sophomore in college (a county college… CCM if that information helps) and I’m taking an online class for the first time. I’m just wondering how these online classes work. Like… will i need to install a software on my comp to "go to class", are lectures in a chat room, etc. I would be very grateful to learn as much as I could about Online Classes as possible to help me get prepared and know what’s coming.

From my experiences there is no software or chatrooms.

In both of the online classes I took it was the exact same material that was taught in class but straight out of the book. You read the book and learn on your own. There is no discussion. All interaction (if any) is done with the teacher via e-mail. You’ll probably get some sort of calendar with all the due dates on it.

For example, my geography class was an online quiz once a week which was basically 10 questions in 20 minutes.

Then every 3 weeks would be a 25 question test which we’d have an hour to do. The semester consisted of 5.

They were pretty easy since I had the book and the internet at my finger tips… ::cough:: yahoo answers ::cough::

There were also a few essays given as homework throughout the semester.

Your class may be different though. Who knows.

In the first Commission Blueprint, a lot of the tasks had to be done manually, such as tracking and campaign creation. These procedures were tedious and time consuming to do. In Commission Blueprint 2 these problems are resolved with the supplied software to automate these procedures.

The amount of software you get with Commission Blueprint 2.0 are amazing. They include Article Blueprint, Ad Spy, Keyword Blueprint, Serpy Tool, Site Builder, and Hippo Jaw. The software package probably cost more than the price of Commission Blueprint 2. Steve and Tim are well known for over delivery of their products.

I did have the chance to try out Article Blueprint. Article Blueprint is an article marketing software that will help you to generate traffic and back links to your site. It will spin and post your articles to article directories. The only drawback is that it does not include Ezinearticles, so you have to post that separately. However, it does include Goarticle and other high PR sites.

Article Blueprint enables you to spin an article to create many different unique articles which it then submits to the sites you choose. To spin an article, you add different variations to as many words as you can in each sentence as in this example:

Original sentence = You should consider this trick. Spin sentence = You should consider this trick.

It took me about 30 minutes to spin a 500 words article. I submitted 2 articles to Article Blueprint. I selected to have my articles post to about 180 directories. It took a day for the 2 articles to get approved and another day for the 2 articles to start getting posted. You can select the number of articles to be posted each day (10, 20, 30, etc.). After a week, I searched Google for my articles with my unique pen name and Google found about 120 results. So I was very impressed with Article Blueprint. I can see that it will be a very useful tool for getting back links and traffic to your sites.

Commission Blueprint 2 looks to be another great product from Steven Clayton and Tim Godfrey. They have again over deliver with Commission Blueprint 2 and have made their product to be very affordable considering what’s included. This is probably one of the best products on how to make money with affiliate marketing this year. What makes Commission Blueprint 2 even greater is that it provides strategies to making money with CPA and a CPA network that you can join and get accepted.

I am planning to do an online Masters Degree in communication as i could not get a good GRE score.(I am residing in the US). I want to know whether it’s worth doing an online program or should i go for on campus study. I am a single mother of two and it is really hard to maintain home, kids and good grades. I would like Online Schooling but am scared to waste my time on something that would turn out to be a scam.

Many mainstream, legitimate universities offer online courses. I’d suggest finding the school you are interested in and then seeing what they offer. Remember that if you do it online you are not restricted to schools near where you live.

No, and if you can get something online that’s cheap all it will do is bring your credibility down.
Don’t do it.. It’d be better to get a job and than at some point maybe take Online Classes at like pepperdine or university of phoenix and see if your employer pays part of tuition (many do) and go that route… I wouldn’t recommend anything else.

I am looking at potential business schools to obtain my Masters in Management, or another related field. I was wondering where do employers rate online schools, such as the University of Phoenix, against other traditional business schools. Im guessing it’s not in the top-tier with Harvard, North Western, Standford and such, but is University of Phoenix seen as a respectable school at all? Thanks.

Nothing against University of Phoenix, but why attend there when there are plenty of other options.

It is my opinion that the best MBA degree is obtained from going to a traditional university and sitting in class. However, that is not an option for all people. If the only way you can further your education is to attend online, you should investigate many schools and not just the ones that advertise.

I recommend that you try to attend a traditional state university that has an online MBA program. If at all possible, go to a program that has AACSB accreditation for their business school. AACSB accreditation is widely regarded as the best business school accreditation. While University of Phoenix is accredited, it does not have this accreditation. An additional benefit is a degree earned online at a traditional school will be no different than a degree earned on-campus.

I was wondering how much are Online Classes per year it said that start out at about 5 grand a course is that for the whole year or what? How long is a course? And what’s a good way to figure out what I want to do with my life? I’m currently 21 and saving up money to go to school/online classes. Thanks a lot!

It depends the last time checked they range from 65k to 85k depending on the school and degree you are pursuing. They range from 120 credits to 150 credits that needs to be completed to graduate. My range is based as a whole and not per year. Online classes can be difficult if you can’t manage your time efficiently and it can be time consuming as that of a regular campus without the commute of course. I take design classes on line. While it’s very convenient to get online classes you can go work as well. Usually like on my college we are allowed 3 subjects two of which are 3 credits each and one is 7 credits which is a core class related to your degree. 1 term is 3 months on mine. So if I needed 130 credits to graduate and considering you take full credits of 7-3-3= 13 credits per term. Save a lot of money and pay the principal cost not the interest. Same as buying a house you pay for the principal to lower payments more. Get a co-signer and check on stafford loans together with private loans. Stafford loans are federally insured loans and private added to the cost are those you would need as well cause there’s a limit on the stafford loans so you might need both and are billed together by the school.Good luck.
