Are there any online program certificate?
Posted by admin | Under Online Certificate Saturday Nov 28, 2009I want to work while am at home with my children. I have a degree in Liberal Arts, Associates. But i want to work while am at home, however, i don’t know of any legitimate at home work. I thought if i get Online Certificate. What do you think?
Well, there is always hope. But aside from that, I’d like to suggest that perhaps you put an ad in your local paper, offering typing services or tutoring.
To be quite honest there just doesn’t exist that "perfect scenario", as much as we’d really really like it to. Companies simply cannot put an area of responsibility into the hands of someone they don’t know and have little control over.
Unless you have excellent credentials, and at least one recommendation from someone fairly powerful on the inside of a company you’d like to work for — forget about it.
If, on the other hand, you were to open a small business that catered to the needs of one or more target companies in your area… see where this is going?
You’re looking for a job that pays money for something fairly simplistic and menial. Those jobs have already been off-shored to China or the Philippines or India. You wouldn’t be able to compete with someone who is willing to work a 10 hour day earning ~$10.
You’ve got a fairly limited amount of time to do "extra" things, between laundry and meals and activity time(s). I’m guessing you probably have pets at home too.
A schedule that allows for MAYBE 3 hours of work per day simply isn’t attractive to very many businesses, unless you can find one in your neighborhood that has a need for someone to "fill in" here and there.
Due to the high cost of professional services like accounting and payroll, you’ll cost more than the value you create (at least from a corporate standpoint). Plus, part-time and flex-schedule people are generally part of the high turn-over group — which generates yet more expense as the need to constantly train new people… see what I’m saying here?
Start a new business, providing services of one sort or another. I’m sure you can think of at least one or two things that you’ve said to yourself, "gee I’d pay somebody to do that for me"… work that someone else doesn’t (or can’t) do for themselves is worth a little research.
Good luck with your hunt. Check out the following website:
