I do the online home schooling and I love it.
Some PROS are you can have your own schedual and can be in the comfort of your own home all day ( Ilike homeschooling a LOT better than public school)
Some CONS are some people seem to miss being around all the people in a classroom I dont miss that at all but U might.

I say go 4 it I love it and I bet you will to, ( Go through connections academy, But the sign up deadline is september 24 so U would have to sign up pretrty quick)

P.S Connections academy is totally FREE and they send you a computer and all your books. Go to connectionsacademy.com For more info lol :) ANYway Hope this helps! XOXO
References :
PROS: You won't have to worry about distractions from other students nor worry about teachers taking up precious work time with longwinded lectures. You also won't have to worry about trips to the locker or rushing to class when you've been held up in another by another teacher. One on One teaching.

CONS: You won't get to interact with other kids your age as much.
References :
Cons: There really are not that many and the few out there are not general cons. For example, I have heard people answer that the house doesn't get cleaned as often, but that wasn't the case in our house or many of the homeschooled families I know. People assume stupid things like you don't know how to socialize, you'll hate your family for being so protective, and you'll have trouble later on in life. Some people do, but in general most don't.
Pros: You can learn at your own pace, you can choose a curriculum that suits your learning style (not the teacher's teaching style and the districts agenda), you can take college classes while still in high school, you will have more time to socialize with friends, you can go on field trips to places that schools would never go, you can take charge of your education and be proud of what you accomplish.
References :
Homeschooled K-12

Pros:
-work at your own pace
-time to study what interests you
-time for REAL socialization in the REAL world
-Better education potential
-A true education not spoon fed facts
-time with the ones you love most
-a closer family

Cons:
-haven't found many the mummifying chicken on the counter for a few weeks was pretty gross but I can deal with that.
-The kids can drive my up a wall at times but I'm sure that can go both ways.
-Curriculum you don't enjoy but feel stuck with for a while
-what to do with all those books when your done with them and have to store them until the next person needs them
-kids don't always want to work when you are ready
-scratched lesson DVDs that won't play
- a constantly messy house (thank God for Flylady it helps me a lot)

So many say that home schoolers have no socialization but these are the misinformed or completely uninformed. The socialization a home schooler gets has more to do with the real world vs the pretend world that public school students live in. In public school kids are forced in a class with 20-30 people their age and zip code. I home school kids are dealing with people young and old and from all over.
References :
I was homeschooled for one year when I was younger (much younger-ha!) because my parents thought that it would be better than the public school available.. it was particularly awful!! It's harder for me to learn directly from my mother and it was hard to concentrate in my home...ended up fighting with my mom most of the year back and forth and the following year was put back in public school...it was better for me--but, I do know people that make it work...I wouldn't do it to my children--think it's better for them to have the interaction with the children at school...~~
